[Sometime during the night, it seems something new has arrived. Nothing threatening this time, though. It seems the carnival has come to town!

Where normally there's only a plain grassy area in the town park, now there are rows and rows of brightly colored and lit stalls, bursting with food and games. All the stalls are manned by drones, though none you've seen around before. Besides that, it looks like there are a few fun looking rides, an exciting show, and a swell funhouse that's sadly boarded up for the time being.

So everything is pretty old and rusty, that just lends it charm. And please don't mind the grime, the strange smells, or the slightly haunting music. Have a sense of adventure, there's nothing off about any of this at all.

Get ready for some good ol' fashioned fun!]

Quality didn't seem to be what they were after so much as quantity, true. The punishments were suitable for an exaggerated, twisted mockery of a communist town. Having hands or feet broken, or limbs, eyes or tongues removed. Those who were killed were executed exclusively during the night through firing squads, I believe.

[And the Ferris wheel finally lurches to a start again. Lithuania squeezes her hand in surprise, but that's really not a bad thing in general so he keeps kind of a tight hold on it anyway.]

[She lets out a tiny gasp, but she feels a little safer clinging to his hand and the ride down is almost pleasant. For a scary ferris wheel]

Those who suffered severe injury but didn't die. Do you remember if they were automatically healed after, or had they need to look for recovery through their own means?

[Poland managed to find a strategically well placed tree to climb up to get a better view of this whole thing unfolding. It looked kind of sketchy for a bit there, but it looks like Poland can have his smug grin after all.]

I think the ferris wheel is broken. I wouldn't ride it again.

[enjoy all the tea you can because who knows when you'll next get the time to relax, of course!!] Correct. As far as I'm aware, Maipole and Westport are the only towns outside of Mayfield that have been open to exploration, but there are at least two others that were on the highway sign last March. I can say with certainty that Westport is still around even though it hasn't been opened back up to the town in years, but I don't know the state of Maipole.

As for the injured, they weren't healed after. All abilities were nullified at the time, so those who could heal themselves were unable to and those without the ability carried on without any extra aid from the town.
