And thankfully, we just passed zombies. I'm positive the town wouldn't repeat anything like that so soon.

It looks that way. In the mean time, I'd like to investigate the town some more; I've learned of several other names mentioned in the message: Zemeckis and Annie. He wanted whoever found Annie to take her with them.
