Father's day
1. 1130 Taylor;Backdated to Saturday morning
[Bazett had never witnessed a droning before. At least, not the instance of it occuring. It seems almost surreal. One moment he was Sazh, and the next, he was...not.]
[The man had been a housemate, and in a way, a friend and parental figure. However, the sheer shock of the event had dulled the rest of her emotions. Instead, she has calmly searched for his belongings, found them gone, and drawn the conclusion that the droning would likely be a permanent one. Still, she is able to remain calm until she finds the pancakes in the refrigirator and the note he had left for her.]
[It is then that she has to make an effort not to cry. He had cared for her and for JK, even until his last sentient moments. Sadness...anger...guilt over not doing better...it all hits her right in the gut. She sits at the table, staring at the pancakes and the note.]
2. Phone; saturday morning
[She should have used filters. Under any other conditions she would have used filters, but right now, she is a little too emotional to use them.]
Tohsaka?
[The girl had been here the longest, and would be the one with the best advice, right?]
Lancer? Hayate? Firo? Tony? We need to talk. Can you...talk to me?
[She does not realize how hard her voice is shaking.]
Or...let me go to your house. It's...awkward at mine.
3. Action; all over Mayfield; All of Sunday
[Bazett decides that it is too awkward for now to live with the drone. Therefore. she will just stay outside the entire day. She does not care where she wanders to, as long as it is far away from drone Sazh.]

Re: 2
[He's wincing inwardly; that's never fun to deal with.]
I'm sorry to hear that. Were you two close or somethin'?
[That much can be assumed from her distress, but he's not really sure what to say to console someone in this situation.</small.]
Re: 2
Re: 2
Are you sure you're alright? You don't sound too good.
Re: 2
[She wonders if the town is messing with her mind again.]
Re: 2
[That does sound strange, coming from her.]
Well, I'm here if ya need me. Did you wanna come over here to get away from the, um... drone-guy?
[It's probably not the most tactful phrasing, but Firo wasn't sure how else to say it.]
Re: 2
Re: 2
[It's a quick and easy way to get the drone out of the way without actually hurting him. Sounds like a perfect plan to Firo.]
Re: 2
[She sighs.]
This is the first time I've had to adjust to something like this.
Re: 2
Re: 2
[For a very long time, she had lived with only drones.]
Re: 2
Re: 2
[She had the power to kill even Servants, but she could not save Sazh from being droned.]
...I should have protected him better.
Re: 2
[A pause, and then he amends that statement.]
Anything anybody coulda' done.
Re: 2
I know. I still wish I could have done something.
Re: 2
If it's really botherin' you that much, you could try and do somethin' for people still here, I guess.
[It's the only real advice he can think of. She's lost her chance to help this friend, but maybe helping others will take her mind off of it. She seems pretty keen on that stuff, if he recalls their first meeting.]
Re: 2
Re: 2
[He doubts he'd be much help with something like that either.]
You could teach somebody to fight.
Re: 2
Re: 2
[He'd been thinking on a smaller scale.]
Hey, that's a pretty good idea.
Re: 2
Re: 2
[He really wishes Maiza or Mr. Martillo was here; they'd be able to offer real business advice.]
...As for the rest of the stuff, just play it by ear. See who ya get and what they wanna learn.
Re: 2
[A pause.]
Thank you for talking to me. It feels...a little better now.
Re: 2
[After a brief pause, he laughs.]
Really? I'm glad to hear that! Tell me how everything goes, okay?
