[And as he stops out, he can't help but gawk at what's parked in his backyard.

...the Egg Carrier? Here?! Oh-hooo! This is magnificent! No longer do I have to stand around in my drab and boring house and...!

[And now, he notices it - yes, it's the Egg Carrier - and everyone in the friggin' town can see it... but it's also pretty wrecked.]

Hmph. So, it brought me the first one, huh? No matter, I'll find a way to rebuild it!

[And as he says this, an idea came to his head...]

Hello, wonderful citizens of Mayfield! It is I, Dr. Eggman, with a question for you all! It seems that the town has returned to me something of great value to me, but for the moment, it's not in the condition to be fully operational! But, I can't let it go to waste, now can I?

With a few modifications, of course, how would you all feel about having it as some sort of... summer fun place? The kiddies are getting ready to get out of school, right? Why not have some fun...

...for a nominal fee, of course.

It's been awhile, but if I had my guess, there's repair to be done just to be able to fly stably again. Then there's the major engine work...

So, unless this place decides to magically repair it, it'll take a long time to repair it fully.

That does sound like quite the undertaking. Have you thought about asking any of the actual mechanics the town has kidnapped for help?

With a lot of paint and a lot of work, it certainly can! Then again, the last time I did an amusement park, Sonic stranded me in space!

Will it fly?

If I can get it repaired. It runs, but Sonic and his little friends' run through it damaged it enough to crash it into the ocean. That's probably the only saving grace here.

I guess it would be too easy to bring it here fully functional. If I had a hand in mechanics, I would offer my help. This looks like it's going to be one heck of a project.

So...what sort of craft is this? I can't say I have seen such a thing before.
