Second Assassination Protocol
Upon hearing about the post office, HK-47 wastes no time in going to get his droid body back. He doesn't care about the cost, anything would be better than being a wretched organic meatbag.
Unfortunately, HK doesn't get back precisely what he was expecting. The body he gets back is from moments before losing the big battle back home. He is battered and malfunctioning, and quickly losing power. He manages to limp home, only to collapse in the living room as he loses power.
[A. 3474 Erwin Road.]
[What looks like a somewhat strange protocol droid is currently lying face down in the middle of the living room, occasionally releasing an errant spark and a bit of smoke.]
[B. General Store / Hardware Store]
[After some repairs, HK-47 is looking for weapons, even crude ones. Pistols, rifles, chainsaws... he'd prefer his disruptor rifle, but he'll make do with what he can get. Unfortunately, the drones in town still perceive him as a 9-year-old boy, despite his upgrade.]
"Aggitated Query: " What do you mean I'm too young to buy this!? It's for my master- erm, father!"
[C. Around Town]
[HK is wandering around town, looking about. If he's trapped here, he may as well assess the layout for any future combat. Does your character approach the droid?]

Re: B
"Querry: Have you never seen a droid before, meatbag?"
Re: B
No, no, I've seen plenty of droids before! Plenty! Yes, you are most definitely not my first. Definitely.
Re: B
"Analysis: You are attempting to subvert the truth, meatbag. And failing."
Re: B
...so what if I am?
[Otoya, false bravado will get you nowhere in this world. He's trying quite hard to look as though he is totally comfortable with this unsettling mechanical man. He is also failing at doing so.]
Re: B
[HK rotates his head back toward the drone shopkeep.]
Re: B
[Looks like Otoya is now offended enough to break through the fear of the droid. He goes up to the counter and addresses the shopkeeper as he sets down his small basket of violin-making supplies.]
My good man! I'll have you know that I'm this lad's adult supervision, and I can promise you with absolute certainty that he is merely running errands for his father!
Re: B
"Statement: Yes... as he said. Now give me the chainsaw."
Re: B
...okay, well, this thing PROBABLY would have acquired a chainsaw one way or another. Otoya wonders if he may have just saved that drone shopkeeper's life.]
Yeah, that's just what his daddy needs, alright! For...yardwork!
[Yep. Just gonna keep telling himself that. Yardwork.]
Re: B
"Clarification: Actually, I need it for dismembering meatbags that have proven to be a nuisance. Since you have been so helpful in my acquisition of this product, I shall resist my impulse to test its capabilities on you, and upgrade you status to 'tolerable meatbag' in my memory core."
Re: B
[Oh, dear. This town needed to get the Ixa Knuckle back to him pretty soon...]
Uh...thanks. I...think.
You're sure there aren't any better ways of dealing with annoyances? Like...music? You know, listen to a little music when you're feeling particularly murderous...
Re: B
"Statement: Oh that is an excellent suggestion. One I have already used a few times in the past, actually."
Re: B
You know, if you're ever in any need of good music, I happen to be an excellent violinist.
Re: B
"Clarification: I find operatic pieces to be more to my liking. For example, back when I was working on Correscant, my master ordered my to assassinate another rival politician. I used a piece of Gamorrean opera played at very high volume to ensure that his cries for mercy and/or help would not be heard. The music had the additional benfit of confusing and frightening him immensely before his death, which made my task that much more satisfying!"
Re: B
How...nice.
[Yep, slow, small sentences...and then, once he's safely away, a trip to the library to see if they have any books on how to thwart a murderbot.]
