A. Phone: So...The other night was a really big deal or something, huh? "Prom"...Everyone has been talking about it, and I wanted to go...but. [There's a sheepish laugh.] I guess in the end I was a little too shy...
But I'm wondering how it was, and what it was like. Would anyone want to share their experience with me? I don't mean to be nosey but...[She regrets sitting it out, plain and simple.]
B. Park: [Anyone who ever said ice cream at night was a bad idea is an idiot. Well, she would never really say that because it's mean, but she definitely doesn't understand why anyone would have a problem with it. The warm, spring evening air is just perfect for relaxing on a park bench and digging into your favorite treat.
Of course, a small black haired, euphoric looking girl emphatically tearing apart a cup of chocolate ice cream isn't the most every day sight.
Or the most lady like, despite having the kind of figure that would make you think she were watching her weight.
Honestly, she was still too used to eating popsicles...Maybe one of the grocery stores might have them? She swings her feet off the edge of the bench as she wonders.
Wondering and wondering and wondering until the spoon stops digging so tenaciously and her lips slow into a purse.
Too bad she doesn't have anyone to share it with.
Yeah, she's kind of lonely.]

Xion? Hey, what's up?
no subject
Well, ignorance is bliss, in any case.
Xion waves her over.]
Hey Yuna!
no subject
Haven't seen you around in a little while. How's it going?
no subject
I'm fine. [Her spoon idly diggings around in the chocolatey mush. Not as good as seasalt but hey...]
Just kind of...adjusting, I guess. Maybe a little too comfortable in the routine of schoolwork.
What about you? Did you go to that Prom?
no subject
Yeah, I went. You didn't really miss much.
[Truth be told, she had a fun time except for getting her heart broken on the dance floor. She's just trying to play that one off.]

Phone
...It was mostly dreadful and agonizing. But there were a few very...very brief moments that were tolerable.
Re: Phone
Nothing bad happened, did it? Did someone get hurt!? [Good lord you've terrified her. A couple of her friends were at that thing...]
Phone
Uh. Not to my knowledge.
What I meant was that it was painfully awkward. Not...painful in a literal sense, but irritating, nonetheless. There was quite a bit of awful dancing and horrible music and tasteless attire. And much of the food was bland or otherwise inedible.
...I only went because my drone mother demanded it of me. And, ah. I did dance with someone, for a bit, but that was all of the tomfoolery that I chose to partake in. I wouldn't worry about anyone else who was in attendance. For the most part, I think the others were either entertained or simply a bit bored with the whole thing.
no subject
Ah...I see. I don't think I would've known what to do in that environment. I've never danced or been around a large amount of people before, so...
...[But she's kind of curious, now that she thinks about it.]
Did you like dancing?
no subject
...Of horse I did. I mean, of course I did. Dancing is always respectable and sophisticated. Although I'm not certain that you could call what we did at the...promenade...dancing, per se. It was more an ill-synchronized sort of swaying while partnered up.
In short, it was rather embarrassing.
[But yes, he liked it.]
I assure you, you didn't miss anything. Except wearing a ludicrous outfit, I suppose, if that's something you think you would have enjoyed.

I'm just wondering what I missed, is all...

I don't think I know what you mean. I've never been to anything like that before.

That's too bad.

I... I simply do not enjoy social gatherings of that nature.
