[ Ah, hello Mayfield. It's a beautiful spring day, isn't it? The sun is shining, the birds are singing, there's a giant robot out for a walk--

Wait, what?

Yes indeed, Jolt is out in his robot mode today- all twenty feet of him- wandering around Mayfield. He won't dare transform, since he has precious cargo clutched carefully in his long fingers.

He's delivering flowers.

All of his lady friends will be getting a little bouquet of bright blue forget-me-nots, delivered right to their door via giant alien robot. It just might... take him a moment to figure out how the hell he's supposed to ring the doorbell.

If you happen to run into him on the street, even if you're not closely acquainted, he has plenty of extra flowers to hand out to the ladies of Mayfield. He's not sure why, but he suddenly feels like all these wonderful women deserve a little something nice. ]

[It's pretty hard to not spot him while she's walking down the street, so she'll just peer up and yell over to him.]

Hey, Jolt!

[electrowhipit]

April! [ his face instantly lights up when he sees her ] I was just on my way to your place.

[technologic]

[April smiles up at him and shrugs lightly.] I'm avoiding the house today, the drones were really getting on my nerves. So, what's up?

[electrowhipit]

I have something for you.

[ he pads over to her and crouches, offering her one of the little bouquets ]

[April tilts her head in confusion, but her expression immediately brightens as she takes the bouquet.] Ah, this is really pretty! Thank you, Jolt!

[electrowhipit]

Don't mention it. I just... I dunno, I felt like you deserve to know someone's thinking about you.

[technologic]

[Her smile softens slightly. She understands now.] ... Thanks, Jolt. But you didn't have to do this.

[electrowhipit]

I did so. You're my friend.

[technologic]

But Mayfield is making you do this, because of this stupid holiday! [She winces and looks down at her feet.]

[Jolt. You have yourself a stalker.]

[He's probably not terribly stealthy about it, but since he's been feeling so much better, lately, he figures it's high time to do something about it.]

[... that something being stalking his fellow Autobot.]

[Patrick is sitting outside, with his drone children, giving 'Mommy' a break. He sort of likes his kids - they're adorable without being grating about it. Besides, he was always fond of being called 'Daddy'.]

[He's on a bench, enjoying an ice cream cone and they're playing cheerily and waving at him, when the ... giant ... robot ...comes walking through.]

[The children are non-plussed. Patrick, a little more so.] ...Well. I honestly can't say I expect that.

[electrowhipit]

... Do you want me to give it to you tomorrow? I can.

[electrowhipit]

[ At some point, he'll pause at a street corner, like her's deciding which way to go.

Then, without turning around: ] What are you doing, Sideswipe?

[technologic]

N-no, I... I'm sorry, Jolt. I just want you to do this only if you want to.

[electrowhipit]

[ If he's got a little girl, Jolt will stop to give her a flower. Either way, he waves at Patrick. ]

Giving the wife a break?

You're still my friend. That's not going to change tomorrow, or the day after that, or the day after that.

[technologic]

... Thank you. I-I'm sorry that I snapped at you.

Don't worry about it.

[ he inclines his head, and there's a smile in his voice ] Do you know what those flowers are called?

[technologic]

[She examines them, and then looks back up at him with a shake of her head.] Nope. What're they called?

[The little girl giggled and stuck it in her hair, before flouncing off. Patrick watched her, then the robot with a bemused expression.]

Ah. Yes. She's having a beauty parlor day, and I haven't figured what I do for a living so ...

They're called forget-me-nots. Think of it as a promise, from one friend to another.

[She blinks up at him and smiles warmly.] I... Thank you, Jolt. This... This makes me really happy.

[Patrick grinned up at the robot, shading his eyes from the sun.]

Just a few days old, give or take. That obvious, or is the economy that great in Mayfield that everyone has a job?
