(So AM's been keeping to himself for a while since he kind of...well, he died for not taking part in the pranking, but no one has to know that! NO ONE!

But there was a lovely surprise when he checked his mail one day: Mayfield sent him one of this favorite powers...and apparently, people were already being body swapped and having their bodies disfigured and transformed? AM's prepared to have an amazing field day.)

(Anyone who bumps into AM today will see him proudly walking down the street with a bit of a bounce in his step as if he had absolutely no damns to give. Suffering from poison joke, are you? Don't worry; this guy can make it worse.)

Well well well, it looks like someone already beat me to the punch. I commend you for your efforts, but I think you can do much better than this. These forced transformations aren't agonizing in the slightest; those under the effect of these stupid flowers have it much easier than they think.

With that said, I do have the power transform everyone back to their original forms...

((OOC: I need to set up a permissions post for all of AM's powers one day, but this will do for now. He can now transform any physical thing into something else, even transforming other characters! I'd greatly appreciate it if you specified whether or not you're okay with AM doing that to your character. He'll only make them temporary so characters can go about their Mayfield lives after talking to him; I'm not that cruel!))

Ah yes. Generally after the town does something to make us suffer it gives something back. Almost like its an experiment in hope and despair.

I'm almost positive I've done something like that before. I can't remember exactly when, but this sort of psychological warfare is my specialty. Psychological warfare and despair.

It sounds like you had a lot of databases in your true form, it may have been something stored on a secondary system. I know I logged most old battle plans off of active memory banks and kept them in reference files back home.

I've watched people do it, and I have some experience with using hopelessness as a battle tactic. They do seem to like it quite a lot here.

I had all of the knowledge ever discovered programmed into my databases. It may not have been the greatest move on their part, but they've already paid for that mistake.

They enjoy it, sure, but like little Billy who found daddy's pistol, they're waving it around so carelessly they'll kill themselves before actually using it properly.

Yes, but do you really expect discipline out of idiots?

Not out of these idiots; the only discipline they'll be able to dispense is on themselves.

And even then they probably won't notice and will clog the phone lines up complaining about it.

It's such a terrible waste, isn't it? All of that potential and the only thing they do with it is bitch and moan about it.

To be fair, humanity as a whole is poorly trained from birth. They don't understand how lucky they are just to exist. That understanding is kind of humbling in some cases.

And yet, it's not enough for them to just be able to exist. They would drown in greed before actually appreciating their existence and ability to create.

I guess its a form of entitlement that comes from existing without intervention. I do honestly wish I knew why it happened some days, others I'm afraid the stupidity would be completely incomprehensible.

Unfortunately, there's no option to pick and choose the proper reasons from the stupidities. It's an all or nothing decision, but in my opinion, it's not really worth it.

Stupidity is a universal constant. One day someone will figure out how to use it to power things and no one will ever want what its powering to show up on their doorstep.

And yet it would already find ways into their homes. If there's one constant to be learned from film and history, it's this: stupidity finds a way. It always finds a way.

The quickest way to make something fail is to make it idiot proof. Idiots are some of the most ingenious people out there.

It really makes you wonder how a world can function with everything working backwards like that. Genius is predictable, but idiocy can never be completely guarded.

It may just be the rules of entropy in play again.

Sometimes I wonder why geniuses are always held in high regard when idiots are the ones who always survive in the end...perhaps they're more akin to cockroaches than one might initially think.

Geniuses are rare and special. Rare and special things are also very fragile.

I think Kudzu may be a better thing to consider idiots to be like.

They're certainly just as encroaching and annoying to kill. I would say there's a balance, but I would be lying to myself if I didn't say idiots outnumber everything in the world.

It functions through organized chaos; a strange combination in itself, and yet that's exactly what keeps it spinning. I'd rather not understand the full logic behind it.

I was told by my teachers that there in lies madness and pointless philosophy. I suspect they may have been right about that.

Those teachers taught you well.

To be fair, they were teaching to be components in a machine, not people so the style was brutal and different.
