3rd Purification: Ghost Buster Django (Mood slime day 3)

(Day three of this madness and Django here has been doing battle with it since. It's on this day that Dr. Egon developed something to battle the effects of the angry slime, leaving the solar boy all too willing to help.

...okay, now to the good part. You'll probably see this guy speeding through the streets of Mayfield on his sexy new bike with his long, red scarf flowing in the wind. And yes, his bike has guns attached to it; guns that shoot solar bullets! He's also shooting down ghosts with his own solar gun, so anyone can see that this guy is on a mission.

He also has a vacuum cleaner provided by Dr. Egon to help him with his work. Overall, Django is looking totally badass as he makes short work of the ghosts while spraying happy slime on anyone with angry slime. You'll see him on the road as he slowly, but surely gets the done.)

[Hajime has been rampaging around town all covered in slime for the past couple days, stopping only to eat (usually violently taking food from drones) and to pass out in random places in the park. Then he sees Django...and more importantly, Django's bike.

HE WANTS THAT BIKE.

Guess what? He's rushing you now, even growling as he does so. He's not at all worried about the bullets; at this point his brain is locked in full-on Joker Undead mode.]

(This is how Peewee's Big Adventure started, isn't it?

Though it would be an honor to reenact such a marvelous and classic film, Django isn't so willing to give up his bike. Since Hajime actually surprised him, he's now speeding away on his bike, putting distance between the two before actually braking and U-turning to face him.)

Run, coward!

[Yes, Hajime, because you're totally going to beat a dude with a bike and guns and needed to quote Sinistar. He's running after the bike now, although his body language is strongly suggesting he thinks he's some kind of hulking monster instead of just a dude. And hey, look, now Django's stopped and is facing him. Hajime kind of lets loose a war cry and starts running at him, intending to try to knock Django off the sweet ride.]

(Yup, pretty sure this is how Terminator 2 played out. John Connor didn't have a vacuum cleaner filled with happy slime, though; that's the big difference here.

A difference Django takes advantage of! He readies it and once Hajime gets close enough, the solar boy is going to hose him down with concentrated Pinkie Pie the slime.)

[Hah, this guy's not even trying to attack, and Hajime is pretty convinced he's going to have a motorcycle again in short order.

He's close now, close enough that he's jumping up in the air with the clear intention of Rider Kicking Django off the bike.]

(Now is the time!

With Hajime in midair, Django tilts the vacuum nozzle upwards and fires the happy slime directly at him!)

[Obviously, that Rider Kick never follows through. The slime knocks Hajime onto his back, taking the wind right out of him. Normally, this would have angered him even without the effects of the mood slime.

But now?

He feels AWESOME. And he's just sort of lying there grinning up at the sky. Maybe Django should check and see if he's okay? He's not moving much...]

(Hmm...maybe Django sprayed him with too much slime?

He's getting off of his bike and going for a closer look. He isn't sure just how happy the stuff is supposed to make him, so watching this guy go from scary monster to grinning dumbass bystander is unnerving.)

Umm...are you alright?

[Really, Hajime's friends back home would be far more worried about seeing him like this than like a rampaging monster. He's still grinning like a moron as he gets up and brushes himself off (though he's still got slime all over him).]

I'm WONDERFUL!

[Oh, yes. Something's very wrong. Watch out, Django, he's coming over to throw a friendly arm over your shoulder!]

Say, you have a great bike. It's really wonderful. Everything is wonderful, isn't it?

(PRESS A+B TO DODGE!

Just going to duck under that friendly arm, as rude a gesture as that is. He can't get himself slimed now! There's still so much work to do!)

Thanks...it's a very trustworthy bike. Things could be better, but wonderful is close enough.

Anyway, I should really get going. Sorry about having to shoot you like that! (Inching towards his bike now...)

[Right now, Hajime, who is normally the one being rude in social situations, really doesn't care about Django's rudeness because everything is wonderful and sunshine and butterflies and fluffy bunnies and Joker, what Joker?]

Oh, hey, wait! Don't you want to go bowling or talk bikes or something?

[Run.]

I'd love to, but perhaps another time when the town is less...possessed...

...well, take care! May the sun be with you!

(Django hops on that bike and drives off like never before. This happy slime is scary stuff...)

Oh, I like the sun!

[Use that power well, Django, for it is mighty...mighty terrifying, that is. Slimy Hajime decides he should head home, and he's whistling a happy tune as he starts to head back that way.]

(And enter Kreutzer, who has been trying her damnedest to avoid this wacky event entirely.

Ironic that it started with a confrontation with Hajime; now it looked like it would end with one.)

And here I thought I wouldn't have to bump into you until you at least showered...

Kreutzer!

[He's grinning and waving at her like an idiot for a couple of moments before pretty much launching himself at her in a hug. Note that he's covered in slime, the back half of his clothing is singed from the explosion, and he's picked up a bunch of new cuts and bruises from various misadventures through his two-day rampage. Also, he hasn't showered in a while.]

I haven't seen you in FOREVER!

What...

(Oh god, he's grinning!? This is a fake-out, right? If it is, it's working. Kreutzer's backing away very slowly right now.)

...what's wrong with you?

[No, Kreutzer, he is just THAT happy to see you and he will deny that any of this ever happened once you get him hosed down.

Nothing's wrong with me! I feel great! Happy to be alive! Happy to see you again!

[And, alarmingly enough, he's trying for another hug.]

(She wants to deny any of this ever happening RIGHT NOW)

You're never happy. We argue, you throw tables at me and I try to blow you up. That's not happy; you have no excuse to be happy.

(Still backing away while her dolls aren't too sure what to do.)

Of course I'm happy! Silly goose, we have every reason to be happy! Life is great! Let's not throw things at each other anymore, okay?

[And what's that unusual noise he's making? OH MAN HE JUST LAUGHED.]

That dress looks great on you, by the way. That's one of the ones you made yourself, right? You're really talented!

(OH GOD THAT LAUGH! It startles Kreutzer enough to make her jump a little.)

Umm...thanks. I'd really love to not get slime on it; I don't know how difficult it is to clean off of clothes...

(Which translates into she is very vulnerable for a hug right now.)

[Still beaming like an idiot, Hajime swoops in for that hug.]

(Oh god, he's hugging her! Gross! She's really wishing he's going to sneak in a punch right now. Instead, the slime gets all over her lovely dress and EWW ITS ON HER FACE DEAR GOD NO...

...but suddenly, she doesn't mind. The hug eventually gets welcomed...and returned. GOD WHAT IS SHE DOING THIS IS HORRIFYING)

[HUGZ TIEM NAO. Hajime is absolutely delighted Kreutzer's returning the hug, and he hugs her tighter.]

See? Isn't this much better than throwing things at each other?

[The horror, the horror...]

(This is absolutely nightmarish and will make their relationship evolve from rivalry to awkwardness.)

It's...really not so bad. I might even say it's enjoyable.

(Dear no a smile. SOMEONE END THEIR SUFFERING!)

Isn't it great? Everything's just wonderful now!

[He's got his arm around her now and he's holding her pretty tightly as he starts walking back in the direction of home.]

Hey, when we get back home, why don't we get cleaned up and go out to dinner somewhere while the kitchen's being repaired? My treat!

[Someone hasn't been home in a couple of days and has no idea the kitchen's self-repairing.]
