...I wonder if this is what it feels like after a long week of drinking alcohol. I've never had any before, but I've read that blackouts are common when one binges. Anyways, I seem to have lost some time, so I apologize to anyone [she attempted to jump into the lap of as if she was a chihuahua instead of a wolf] I acted... unusual toward.

I do have a question for you all. How many of you consider yourself kin to canines? Dogs, wolves, foxes or the like...

[Arf automatically prepares herself to be a bit surprised at Hayate's age when she eventually sees her. But she's gotten used to it by now.]

[Arf hangs up and immediately heads over to see Hayate.]

[Hayate'll be waiting at the door, leaning against the door and waiting to pounce and hug one of her favorite people!]

[Arf, in her humanoid form, sniffs the air a bit as she sights Hayate - just to be sure she smelled right - and grins. She might not be planning any pouncing, but a hug is forthcoming from her as well.]

Arf hi! Come on in! [Pounces and hugs her warmly and for once, there's no sign of a slight grope.]

[Arf gives Hayate an affectionate nuzzle.]

Ah... I'm a bit limited in my forms right now. I'm only capable of this and my base wolf form. I'm sure Fate has told you about the restrictions on our magic.

[Once free of Hayate's embrace, Arf starts to casually walk around Hayate's house, sniffing the air at times and looking over everything... keeping near the mage at all times.]

That does make sense. I don't have anythin' right now, not even my hair bands. [And she flicked the lock of hair that she kept long for her signature yellow and red hair bands.]

At least the wardrobe I've got is cute an' well made. Come on into the livin' room, we'll talk there. The husband isn't here, an' I honestly haven't seen 'em for a while.

[She indicated the picture with the wild looking man in a suit, smiling a smile that would either mean 'I want to fight you' or 'I want to eat you' and Hayate was in the picture as well.]

Do you have drone children or real ones?

Drone children. They're at school or at their clubs. I admit though it would be nice if I had some real kids to look after. I'm plannin' on dropping in on Einhard a few times a week cause I heard there's only kids in that house.

Well, the only dangerous incident was back a few years ago when Ixy woke up. She's asleep an' she's one of th' originals who was in cold sleep till now. She's still weak an' the threat was taken care of when her servant was defeated.

[Hayate patted Arf soothingly.] If anythin' Vivio has more worry tha' Einhard'll fall fer her when they get older. Those two are darn adorable.

Hayate... Don't tell Fate, but I have no idea what you're talking about. You, Fate, Nanoha... Vivio... you're all older than you should be. To me.

Hey. [She nudges Arf on the shoulder.] You'll NEVER become not useful. Never tell yourself differently. Fate'll always rely on you as a close precious person even if we could get so powerful we'll make Midchilda explode from our collective awesome.

I know, but it is nice to be the one to protect Fate again. To do my duty as her familiar as I did when she was young.
