The final portal doesn't seem to be a portal at all. It's a glitch hole.

Located on the lawn of the library is a hole much like the ones that have plagued every new location for the past week. As with them, it hurts your eyes to look at too long, but even if you should muscle past the pain and stare straight into it, you can make out nothing on the other side. Nothing, save for a shifting, twitching, swirling void.

Unlike the portals, which were vertically placed like doorways, the hole at the Library is strewn across the lawn: if you want to enter it, you're going to have to jump. Of course, there's no guarantee it will even lead anywhere. Touching the hole or sticking your arm in doesn't have any effect: you'll pull your arm out unharmed. As far as jumping in completely goes, those who jump in disappear from sight. As long as you're on the Mayfield side, there's no way to tell what lies beyond the hole.

There's only one way to find out.

[ooc: Feel free to roleplay up to the point your characters jump in, assuming they do. A single group subthread will be created in a few hours revealing what happens on the other side.]

[A small sedan sized spider robot is wheeling up to Sora when it notices him looking dour. There's a hint of concern in its voice when it speaks up.]

You don't look too good, are you okay?

Oh I'm quite fine, thank you! I was just talking about how this looked like some cyberspaces back where I'm from! Unfortunately it isn't, so none of the programs I have will actually work here. It's also a shame that the data surrounding us is so destructive, it would be nice to be able to take a closer look...

Oh, if you're not feeling too good, I could give you a ride?

[All that techno talk, Genki? Yeah, it flew over his head. The offer of a ride though doesn't.]

Huh? You serious?

[He doesn't sound against the idea, actually, he sounds rather excited.]

Yep! I'm designed to carry at least one passenger in my rear pod even!

[Tachikoma actually kind of waggles said pod attached to its back for emphasis.]

I wouldn't be much of a tank if I couldn't provide someone with full armored protection after all!

All right! Than lets give it a shot!
[Well that's enough for Sora. Grinning the boy runs over to the pod and leaps inside of it.]

[And Tachikoma is happy to oblige, opening up the pod so Sora can crawl in. It even turns on the monitors so he can see what it sees! Once the closed up, it will open the top hatch again though.]

Oh, if you want, I can leave the top open so you can see for yourself, or talk to others. The armor and padding makes it hard to be heard by those outside, after all!

Well, our bodies are made for various combat situations, so we have all kinds of neat abilities!

I still can't use my grenade launcher though. It's probably for the best, I don't have any ammo for it, and without another person, I can't remove the cover by myself anyway.
