[ Magnus has spent most of his morning cleaning the house and attempting to cook breakfast. Although the last part hasn't turned out too well. It's mostly burned. But he has gotten flowers for his drone!wife and for Twilight! ]



B. Action | All Around Town

[ Magnus has never celebrated Mother's Day. Sometimes, he forgets it even exists. But today, he finds he has the impulse to please every woman he comes in contact with. For the girls he knows well, he'll probably offer to take them out for lunch or buy her something nice.

But while he wanders around town, he'll stop every single girl he comes across to talk to her. ]

Excuse me. Can I just say you look great today?

[Anya looks over at Magnus, surprised, then smiles at him.] Thank you! It's the hair, right? I just had it done. [For the fifth or so time since she showed up here. Two months ago.]

Mother's Day.

[ He says it before he realizes it. He's going to be very unhappy with himself later. ]

It's Mother's Day? I didn't even notice...

(How thankful she was that her own mother is safe back home...)

It's been pretty nice, I guess; I can't complain. How about you?

[ He smiles. ]

Well it's off to a nice start, at least. As far as I can tell, Mayfield's activity is flowing in a good sense of normal today. We could always benefit from more days like that.

Oh, did you ever get your new suit?

I have, thank you for asking. It's in my closet. I'm just waiting for the right occasion.

[ He turns toward the counter to straighten up one of the flower arrangements. ]

Well, there's always the prom. Everypony's excited about it! I know I'll definitely be going.

[highwarlock]

Prom. [ He looks thoughtful. ] It's tempting. I do love a good party.

And I hear it's going to be a great party. You should go; it'll be great!

(Oops, unintentional command!)

[ Blink blink. Well he hadn't actually planned on going, but okay! ]

Alright. It'll be a nice change in pace, at least.

I'll be there too, if that helps; I'm sure it'll be great fun!

Oh, I don't know if I'd say that; there'll be plenty of people there, especially the partygoers.

You know, I get that a lot. In fact, I get that everyday!

[ She's receptive to the compliment, but, she's not totally impressed. She was regarded as her world's most beautiful woman, after all! ]

Well, I'm glad we're in agreement about one thing. Now, was that all you wanted to say?

For the first time in forever I was finally recognized as an equal to men all over town. It feels great!

For the first time? You should feel like that everyday, though.

The first time in a long time. Even though I should feel like that everyday, the drones are just an irritating pain to deal with. To hell if I know less than one of their bland, robotic, drone doctors here.
