Do you know anything about vampires?

I do. Vampires are the primary threat back in my world; as a vampire hunter, it's my job to ensure that they bring no harm to the innocent.

Do you kill them on sight or do you make allowances?

[sunnydwithagun]

I give warnings first and demand that they cease their villainous acts, but they're never willing to negotiate. Encounters with them have always ended in battle and their purification.

[splitthebaby]

Is that so? How would you feel about being part of an organization devoted to fighting vampires and demons?

[sunnydwithagun]

(A noticeable bit of interest from Django.)

I normally work alone when combating vampires and their hordes of undead, but I'm not one to turn down help. Are you forming such an organization?

[splitthebaby]

No...not exactly. I belong to such an organization back home but such a thing is pointless here. There would be another direction...

[sunnydwithagun]

I see...what direction would that be?

[splitthebaby]

There are quite a few super powerful being in this town, both good and bad. The problem is, no matter how good or evil a person is, they can make mistakes and decisions that harm people.

In short, there is no one watching out for the others. We rely on those who are 'good' but even they have made bad decisions in the past. There must be people who exist solely as a balancing power so weaker people will not get caught up in the fights of those who are stronger.

That is a path I have chosen to walk shortly after arriving here. I can confess to making mistakes and poor choices in my past, but my priorities lie in providing help for those who need it and defending those who can't defend themselves.

I will admit that it will not be prestigious and you may have to stand between those who believe they are going something for the greater good and their objective.

Sometimes, it may even be reviled work.

I'm familiar with that scenario. It's not a sort of job that will always get the approval of others, but it's something that has to be done. I do what I do for the safety of others; not for glory.
