[It was a moment that certainly called for a hug, and Dakki pulled Aurica close. With her armor off, dressed as your average civilian humanoid, it was just about the same as hugging her when she was human.]

I never thought I'd have a daughter... I'm happy to have a daughter like you, Aurica.

[She means it. She really does. Mayfield does have its little blessings, for all the trials and troubles.]
