I can't believe we've gone this long without a summer get-together. I think we need it, especially after that last little incident. So how about a pool party this Saturday at the rec center? Nothin' formal, but I can always supply some tunes. Bring some food 'n' drinks, and your swimsuit. What do you guys think? If there's one nice thing about Mayfield, it's the endless supply of nice weather, so we might as well take advantage of it.

Any other ideas? They got a divin' board, maybe we can have like a diving contest or somethin' like that.

...though I can't say I have much experience with diving.

The whole outfit looks like it's been through a war zone, but she looks surprisingly comfortable in the frayed jeans and shirt. She cocks her head at Quinn while she listens to him.]

Pool party? I haven't been to one of those in ages. A diving contest might not be too bad, but if it's a summer party, wouldn't there be food contests as well? Get some good seedless watermelons and watch people go to town with them or something.

Old duds. Got them back the other day. [She wiggles a foot, the chucks stained with age and other things. She glances down at her jeans, her nose wrinkling as she fingers a tattered hole on the thigh.]

I've spent the past couple of days trying to wash the stains out. Didn't work too well.
