Honestly it varies. Once we woke up to find out the whole town had been nuked into oblivion just to make a point, and then a couple of weeks later everything was back to normal, but not before people died from radiation poisoning, starvation, and being eaten by roaming packs of insane cannibals. Just recently there was a really freaky carnival outside of town that transported people to an exact copy of Mayfield except with a perfect carnival and no people and no food.

So yeah. Can't really predict what happens next.
