[Luke can't help but let the guy's cheerful demeanor rub off on him a little bit and he smiles in response, though he can't seem to get a word in edgewise. Luke doesn't mind, and is in fact a little amused at all Jazz has to say while he takes his hand in a friendly handshake. However, when he hears the words "movie series" his smile fades and his expression is wraught with confusion and a bit of shock.

If Luke had heard something like that back when he first arrived in Mayfield he'd have laughed it off, thinking someone was just crazy or making things up. However, he's been here long enough now to know that just about anything is possible. He doesn't even think twice about Jazz being a member of some kind of race of robots.

He stares dumbfounded until Jazz finally asks him a question. Luke blinks and shakes himself from his thoughts.]

Uh. No, the laser canons and torpedo launchers got removed--waitwaitwait. Movie series. You mean... movies, people watch them for entertainment. My reality, the events and people in it are the subjects of a movie series where you come from? I'm just--... making sure I heard that right.

[Even as he's wrapping his brain around that idea he's searching Jazz' thoughts for any hint of a lie... and isn't finding one.]
