If that were the truth of it all why not make us brainless as these dolls? If they have power enough to strip our abilities from us and bring us across the valleys of time and space, they surely would have power enough to do that.

It is a possibility though. But it would act as a double edged sword for them. It may be a way of pacifying us...but who is to say that we would use our abilities to take this town over? I certainly would...
