I happen to like my uniform from home, and I can always lose the jacket and dust cape if I want. They had to make the things detachable after someone stupidly got theirs caught in elevator doors.

Although, I hear soldiers are more likely to panic and drop their trousers than think clearly and unclasp the dust cape.

But, I suppose having someone make an exact copy out of lighter weight material isn't a bad suggestion.
