No, really, it would have been an act of kindness. You don't stay dead here. Most of the time, you come back to life in your own bed the next morning. When I first got here, you would come back with no side effects, but since the revival machine was blown-up and made whole again, there are side effects that last for a couple days. It used to be much better than having to deal with severe injuries.
