It's been about a month, maybe a little more. Also there's some bad news about this place as well. The town sometimes makes an attempt to make it miserable for us, and often as extreme as death happens. A while ago, I heard the revival machine was destroyed and rebuilt, so death isn't permanent but certainly not pleasant.

[Hayate thinks for a few seconds and adds...] Oh and you'll probably get a call from someone in town asking why you haven't been at work if you're supposed to be the mother in a family, if you're not a homemaker like a lot of us are. Miss too many of those work days and you get droned, turned into one of those cheerful people with Stepford Smiles that think this place is bright and cheerful and the best place ever.
