[Well, it's been a few days since the end of the event, when Lyon stormed up to her room and locked herself in out of sheer embarrassment.  She was droned for seemingly no reason about ten minutes after that, and Mayfield's been treated to the cheerful drone named Mismar bouncing around town in her place ever since - doing her hair up in curls, going on dates with the Prince's drone, and just generally having a nice relaxing time in the wonderful town of Mayfield.

...All of that comes to an abrupt end on Saturday morning, however, as a red beam of light tears through the roof of 747 Partridge Drive, bright enough and wide enough to be seen from anywhere in town.]

...Hello, everyone.  It's Lyon.  I'm back.  How long has it been here?  And can anyone help repair a hole in a roof?

Well, I'm going to get dressed now, I think. I'll meet you downstairs for breakfast, all right?

Okay, I got it this time! [ Now she can hang up for real, and get on her way over. She has the tarp bundled and slung over her shoulder, with a heavy toolbox under her other arm. Meiling literally flies straight over and pauses to hover over the damaged area. ]

Wow, that's almost impressive...

Sure! I'll see you there. I think I threw out everything Miakis tried to make recently so it should all be safe!

[Miakis was, in a way, almost thankful for Lyon's droning - it gave her a chance to separate herself from at least some of the horror that was her Valentine's Day. After a while, though, she found herself getting concerned...

That concern turns into panic on Saturday morning, though. oh god the drone touched the sun rune, how fucked are we right now

After tracking the source of the explosion, she gives Lyon's door a hesitant knock.]

Lyon? You back yet?

Falena's located inland, but the Feitas river runs through the center of it, so there's always freshwater fish available.

Don't you have plenty there already?

[Lyon's back in her room by this point, so she waves up at Meiling.]

Yeah... I messed up pretty bad this time.

[sparkling_eyes]

[Thankfully, having gone home and come back has provided a bit of distance in Lyon's head between Valentine's Day and the current moment, so she's not feeling as awkward as she might at the sound of Miakis' voice.]

I'm here. You can come in.

[She's standing there dressed in her pink drone jammies staring up at the hole in the ceiling.]

In the meantime, I suggest staying in another room, or another house.

That's probably the best idea until we can get this figured out. But isn't in another house going a little far? It's just a hole.

Depends. Is the hole over your bed?

I bet that makes life pretty easy for most people then.

[Miakis lets herself in and follows Lyon's gaze up toward the ceiling, letting out a low whistle at the sight of the hole there. Explosions make it so much easier to ignore all this awkwardness.]

Wooooooooooow... Did you do that?

[She holds up her left hand. The Twilight Rune is still glowing.]
