I see...very well then, this town is called Mayfield. It is a malevolent genius loci that kidnaps people from various worlds and times and forces them into these family roles. For some reason, it likes to pretend that it is in 1950s America and expects you to play out your gender roles likewise. Failure to obey the town will get you turned into one of its mindless constructs called drones. You might have one or two as your housemates currently. Also, this place likes to inflict different types of disasters upon its inhabitants at least once a month. I would suggest that you be careful and make some strong allies.
