[One thing Satine has learned during her short time here is that she actually enjoys gardening. Watching beautiful flowers grow because of her care... it's oddly exhilarating. Of course, it's taken some practice, and there are quite a few dead plants littered through the garden, but she's really gotten the hang of it by now!

So, she's crouched, pulling gloves on over her hands because heaven's forbid if she lets them get all cracked and dirty with a new pot of bright red geraniums sitting beside her.]

[After a morning of hard work, she's decided to treat herself to some brand new outfits. The styles are completely different compared to what she's used to, but Satine is more than certain she can make it work.

Fishing through the racks, she eyes a full skirted pink dress with interest.]

[A smile forms on her face as she carefully preens the flowers.]

Aren't they? [Her nose wrinkles slightly.] I like to think I've gotten the hand of this gardening thing.

It's a lot of fun! I used to help Himeno all the time at home.

[She lets out a small huff, tucking a few loose strands of hair behind her ears.]

It certainly does pass the time.

And the weather's always so nice all the time, it's perfect for growing.

Do they even have winters here?

Yep, it snows right around Christmas, mostly at night. It keeps going until February. One day there was even so much we didn't hafta go to school!
