_{[Action; early morning, around town]}

_{[Should you look be looking skyward, or just looking up in general, you might happen to see a certain fairy queen fluttering past, her mother's Psypher bow with her. The bow's nearly as big as she is tall, but she doesn't seem to have too much trouble carrying it.

Really, she could have left it at the house, but she doesn't trust anyone with it, especially after losing it once. Besides, she set up some makeshift targets in the park!]}

_{[Phone; late afternoon]}

I have a request to ask of someone, if possible; I am looking for someone who may be able to tailor some clothing for me, ones that are... less cumbersome to fly in. _{[And closer in appearance to what she might wear back home.]}

Fly in? Hmm, well, if you give me an ideas I might be able to tailor you something. I can't say I've ever had to make something easy to fly in but there's a first for everything.

Well, to begin with, there should be room for my wings to fit through. _{[things were easier before the drone mother got replaced by Grell; she could try to convince the drone!mom to do this for her]}

Hehe, of course. I mean more... what are you looking for? A dress or shirt? Any colors or designs? Just something to give me an idea of how to go.

Though I guess all of that can be discussed when I take measurements.

Not necessarily a dress, unless it was short enough to where it wouldn't catch on anything... perhaps more like- would it perhaps work better if I were to draw sketches?

That would be a great actually!

In that case, I shall prepare some drawings that hopefully give an idea as to what I'm looking for.

[To be fair, Hope has seen people that can levitate, through the aide of magic. So while seeing Mercedes in the sky is surprising it isn't mind boggling.]

_{[Mercedes, on the other hand, knows only of the faeries and valkyrie being capable of flight... aside from the dragons, of course. When she hears someone call after her, the little fairy descends, though still hovering a bit off the ground.]}

How are you able to fly like that??

How? With my wings, of course! I am a fairy, after all. _{[Turning around to show her pretty wings! Though the question is how can she fly carrying a crossbow nearly as big as her.]}

[The only creatures he's seen with wings are monsters-so this is really interesting to him!]

A fairy? ...Uhm, why do you need that then?

Sorry, I meant why do you need that bow? Doesn't being a fairy give you magic...?

There are spellcasters within our troops, but I do not use magic, myself. 'Tis my mother's Psypher bow, which has been passed onto me.

Ah-so then does this bow have any sort of unique aspect to it....? [The 'mother' comment earns a sad tone in his voice.]

It can shoot very powerful bolts.

_{[A small pause, as she thinks over things.]}

It is a very powerful Psypher in general- one that could shatter the Demon Lord's Balor. I can attest to this personally, as I was the one to defeat him, both to reclaim control of the Cauldron as well as avenge my mother.

_{[In the big picture of things, sure, the idea was to rally the troops to take back the Cauldron. But despite it not being what her mother would have wanted, Mercedes, in the end, wanted to avenge her mother's death.]}

[This is unintentionally a very touchy subject for Hope-since his mother was killed and he too wanted revenge upon someone for her loss.]

Do you feel better-having gotten revenge for her?

I... don't know. I suppose... maybe._{[the formality of her tone is somewhat gone at this point.]} I chose not to take his life, but to instead forbid him from entering my forest, on pain of death.

I was actually very afraid at the time. _{[victory was short lived, anyway, because Ragnarok.

And then the part where Mercedes died, later on]}

[He wasn't sure, should he feel good or bad about the path this fairy girl chose to take? It wasn't really his place to judge, but in a way because their situations were so similar in that aspect, he felt a bit of relief with her choice.]

That kind of thing isn't easy... terrifying even. [It can hurt so much, that the only way to deal with it for a long time is to run.]

But it sounds like now no one else in your forest will have to suffer because of him.

[Jace has seen Faeries before, but nothing on the level of Mercedes...This plane gets more and more interesting the more he explores, and he wants to know more. About everything. What this place is...who everyone is. Knowledge. So he'll just observe quietly while keeping his guard up. He'd be a sitting duck if that was something summoned.]

_{[Eventually, Mercedes gets the feeling someone is watching her. Creeeepy. She'll maintain a safe distance above the ground, and out of possible reach, but otherwise she wants to know who it is.]}

You... have not? _{[Mercedes knows that newborn fairies are very tiny, and she herself is still young, but still]}

I have not indeed. They're much, much smaller where I come from. Hand-held. Can be handy to summon too, when in a pinch.
